Limo companies are often criticised for only using American cars like God-awful Lincolns and Hummers, but now we’ve been stumped, thanks to a British company who has decided to buy themselves an Audi R8 and give it the limo-treatment.

If you’re brave, the video does contains scenes of a disgusting nature. There’s no way of sugar-coating it; it’s just plain wrong.
The Audi R8 is a brilliant sports car, and it most definitely should not be elongated, extended or increased in mass by anyone. Just have a look at the video and bask in the horror.

Good news for all Lexus fans with plenty of money as the car manufacturer is on a roll with its supercars. Since the arrival of the laughable-priced LFA, the luxury manufacturer has been itching to build another supercar to take on the market, and now it’s released a shot of its new 2+2 supercar, the LF-LC – catchy name, right?
The 2+2 will be vying for supremacy with cars like the Porsche Panamera and Ferrari FF, and while there aren’t too many details about performance or even what engine it will have, we reckon with those looks, it’s going to get under the aforementioned manufacturer’s skin a little.

Let’s just pray for Lexus’ sake they don’t price it so stupidly – like the LFA – that they don’t sell any, because with those classic looks, anybody would want one.

Mazda Turbo

The Mazda turbo is specifically a turbine-type supercharger driven by exhaust gases. It is a compressor or pump that picks up energy from one moving fluid stream and utilizes it to add energy to another moving fluid stream. Its prime purpose is to maximize fuel and air burning by forcing more of it into the engine’s cylinder and thus the engine is allowed to breathe more freely. It significantly increases engine power without causing it too much weight. It provides incremental benefits for peak engine performance by increasing horsepower output while enduring extreme operating conditions. It uses an exhaust-gas driven turbine wheel to drive a compressor wheel, boosting air distribution to the engine.

The turbo is a type of a forced induction system wherein it compresses the air circulating through the engine. This is done in order to supply more air into the cylinder. More air means more fuel can be added. Therefore, in every explosion in the cylinder, you can get more power. This can generate more power output unlike those engines without the charging. This results to an improved power-to-weight ratio for the engine. In order to be effective and to achieve engine boost, it employs exhaust flow coming from the engine, allowing it to spin a turbine, which in turn spins an air pump. The turbine spins at an approximate rate up to 150,000 rotations per minute (rpm), which is about 30 times faster than most vehicle engines can achieve. Because it is dependent to the exhaust, the temperature in the turbine is relatively higher.

The Mazda turbo allows the engine to maximize its combustion process by packing more air and fuel mixture into the cylinders. The boost that it can normally generate is around 6 to 8 pounds per square inch (psi). Since normal atmospheric pressure is 14.7 psi, you can notice that about 50 percent more air into the engine is supplied. Thus, you can be assured that you will get 50 percent power gains from your engine. But due to some instances, this may not be perfectly efficient but you can nevertheless acquire 30 to 40 percent increase. One cause of this inefficiency may come from the fact that the power to drive the spinning turbine is not free. The turbine in the exhaust flow can cause some restrictions in the exhaust flow and thus, the engine has to force against a higher back-pressure.
